Ibisco is my latest design with Expression Fiber Arts. This cardigan is so warm. It goes over everything. Lots of ease. The neckline is beautiful....looks so good on Chandi in the picture. This was knitted with Dewy DK from Expression Fiber Arts. I absolutely love working with this yarn....my fav!!!!
Ibisco is Italian for the Hibiscus flower. The color used to make this sweater is the color of the flower. Ibisco is the sister pattern to Malvarosa and Millefiori. Here is a video about the three sweaters. Sister Patterns. Enjoy!

I bought the Ibisco sweater pattern, and have a bit of a question about the Front Bands. I have 60 years of knitting behind me, but I do not understand the directions for the bands . Am I to begin picking up stitches at the bottom of the right side, around the neck then down the left side?? Your directions say pick up all stitches along the edge of the first band to your right. Then repeat across the edge of the body *pick up 3 sts and skip a st* (neck edge, hem edge) Then pick up all stitches on the edge of the remaining band.
