This is the pattern named Bleuet. I named this design with the French word for blueberries...Bleuet. I used a 2 different blues, a green, and a gray shade of yarn in this design. The reason I used this name was basically one morning I was adding blueberries to our cereal at breakfast. It dawned on me that the shades of blue on these blueberries was the same as the two colors of blue I was knitting with. Blueberries have a gray look to them...thus the gray yarn. Finally, all berries have green on the plants...the green shade. The yarn I used was Mirage Sport from Expression Fiber Arts. I held the yarn with 2 strands. These 2 strands allowed the colors to change and make 8 different stripes of color. I then added a picot edge and a ribbed collar. It can be worn as a shawl or close the opening and it becomes a poncho.
This design is fun to knit as you watch the colors change in the stripes. Enjoy!
